Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the sports comedy Space Jam: A New Legacy directed by Malcolm D. Lee and starring LeBron James, Don Cheadle, Sonequa Martin-Green, Khris Davis, Cedric Joe, Eric Bauza, Jeff Bergman and Zendaya. The film’s original score is composed by Kris Bowers (Green Book, Bridgerton, When They See Us, Mrs. America, Dear White People). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Republic Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie last week (click here for more information). The comedy is now also available to stream on HBO Max.

Also opening wide is the thriller sequel Escape Room: Tournament of Champions directed by Adam Robitel and starring Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, Indya Moore, Holland Roden, Thomas Cocquerel and Carlito Olivero. Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Yellowstone, Thor: The Dark World) & John Carey. have composed the film’s original music. Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Neighbors, Freaks & Geeks, Bad Teacher, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Bridesmaids, Instant Family, The Heat) has composed the original music for the upcoming documentary Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain. The film is directed by Morgan Neville (20 Feet From Stardom, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead) and centers on the uncommon life of the late storyteller, explorer, and chef, Anthony Bourdain. The movie draws on the catalog of Bourdain’s on-screen work and features never-aired moments, home movies, and insights from those who knew him best.

‘The King of Staten Island’ Soundtrack Details

Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack EP for Judd Apatow’s comedy The King of Staten Island. The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Freaks & Geeks, Funny People, The Big Sick, Bad Teacher) who collaborated with Nosaj Thing and Emile Haynie on his score. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 10 and will be available to stream/download here. The King of Staten Island is co-written and directed by Apatow and stars Pete Davidson, Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow, Steve Buscemi. The movie revolves around a man who has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died and is now chasing a dream of becoming a tattoo artist.

The film starring Pete Davidson, Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow and Steve Buscemi centers on a burnout stuck living with his mom on Staten Island. Apatow (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up) and Davidson also co-wrote the screenplay with Dave Sirus. The director is also producing the project with Barry Mendel (The Sixth Sense, Munich).

The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander).
