Milan Records will release the score album for the dance movie Step Up: All In. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeff Cardoni (Just Friends, Silicon Valley, CSI: Miami, Wilfred). The soundtrack will be released on July 29, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Step Up: All In is directed by Trish Sie and stars Ryan Guzman, Briana Evigan, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Misha Gabriel, Izabella Miko, Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani. The fifth installment in the Step Up series features all-stars from the previous movies who come together in Las Vegas, battling for a victory that could define their dreams and their careers. The sequel will be released nationwide on August 8 by Summit Entertainment.

Four new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi thriller Transcendence directed by Wally Pfister and starring Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy, Clifton Collins, Jr. and Morgan Freeman. Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Little Miss Sunshine, Moneyball) has composed the film’s original music. WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music. Already in theaters since this past Wednesday is the drama Heaven is for Real directed by Randall Wallace and starring Greg Kinnear, Kelly Reilly, Connor Corum, Margo Martindale and Thomas Haden Church. The film’s original music is composed by Nick Glennie-Smith (We Were Soldiers, The Man in the Iron Mask, The Rock). Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score. Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Turn created by Craig Silverstein and starring Jamie Bell, Seth Numrich, Daniel Henshall, Heather Lind, Meegan Warner, Kevin R. McNally, Burn Gorman, Angus Macfadyen, JJ Feild and Samuel Roukin. The show’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, World War Z, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine). The period drama follows a farmer and his childhood friends who form an unlikely group of spies and eventually turn the tide during the American Revolutionary War. Jeff Cardoni to Score HBO’s ‘Silicon Valley’
Jeff Cardoni has been hired to score the upcoming HBO comedy Silicon Valley. The show is created by Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Office Space), John Altschuler & Dave Krinsky (Blades of Glory) and stars T.J. Miller, Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener, Lindsey Broad, Christopher Evan Welch, Amanda Crew, Angela Trimbur, Zach Woods and Kumail Nanjiani. The series follows a group of self-proclaimed sexless, classless geeks as they make their way through the quirky and hilarious world of young tech-entrepreneurship. Judge, Altschuler and Krinsky are also executive producing the project with Scott Rudin (The Social Network, No Country for Old Men, Captain Phillips), Michael Rotenberg (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Reign Over Me) and Tom Lassally (Stay, The To Do List).
‘A Perfect Man’ Soundtrack Released
Double Eagle Records has released a soundtrack album for the indie comedy drama A Perfect Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeff Cardoni (CSI: Miami, Just Friends). The soundtrack is now available digitally on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. A Perfect Man is directed by Kees Van Oostrum and stars Liev Schreiber, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Joelle Carter, Renee Soutendijk, Huub Stapel, Kevin Rooney and Louise Fletcher. The movie is set in Amsterdam and follows a philandering man and his attempts to understand women through phone conversations a with a woman named Nina. The film opened in select theaters last fall and is now available on VOD and DVD.
Jeff Cardoni to Score ‘Step Up: All In’

John Swetnam (Evidence, Into the Storm) has written the screenplay and Adam Shankman & Jennifer Gibgot (Hairspray, Rock of Ages, 17 Again) are producing the project through their Offspring Entertainment company.
Jeff Cardoni to Score ‘The Lottery’ Pilot and ‘Miss Meadows’
Jeff Cardoni has signed on to score the Lifetime pilot The Lottery. The show is created by Timothy Sexton (Children of Men) and stars Marley Shelton, Michael Graziadei, Lesley-Ann Brantset, Louise Lombard, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Martin Donovan and David Alpay. The drama is set 25 years in the future when the human race faces extinction and when women stop having children. When 100 fertilized embryos are discovered, a national lottery is setup to help decide the surrogates. Danny Cannon (Judge Dredd, The Young Americans) is directing the pilot episode and is also executive producing the Warner Horizon production with Dawn Olmstead (Prison Break, Tru Calling). Cardoni has previously scored the Cannon-produced hit series CSI: Miami.

Expected to top the weekend box office is the film adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s sci-fi novel Ender’s Game directed by Gavin Hood and starring Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford. Steve Jablonsky (Transformers series, Battleship) has composed the film’s original score. Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music. Premiering on Thursday, October 10, on ABC is the fantasy drama spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz and starring Sophie Lowe, Michael Socha, Peter Gadiot , Emma Rigby and John Lithgow as the voice of the White Rabbit. Mark Isham who is also scoring ABC’s Once Upon a Time, which recently had its third season premiere, is composing the music for the show. Expected to top the weekend box office is the animated film sequel Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 directed by Cody Cameron & Kris Pearn and featuring the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Benjamin Bratt, Neil Patrick Harris, Terry Crews and Kristen Schaal. Mark Mothersbaugh who has previously scored the original 2009 film, as well as Hotel Transylvania for Sony Pictures Animation has composed the movie’s score. Also opening wide is the indie comedy Don Jon written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and starring himself, as well as Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Brie Larson and Tony Danza.
