Polydor Records has released the theme song from the new Apple TV+ original series Slow Horses. The track, entitled Strange Game, is performed by Mick Jagger who also co-wrote the track with the show’s composer Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Enola Holmes, The Trial of the Chicago 7). The song is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Apple Music and Amazon). Also check out the official lyric video below. Slow Horses is developed by Will Smith (Veep, Avenue 5) based on Mick Herron’s first novel in the book series of the same title and stars Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Lowden and Olivia Cooke.

Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Being the Ricardos, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey) has composed the original score for the new Apple TV+ original series Slow Horses. He also co-wrote an original opening titles song with Mick Jagger. The show is based on Mick Herron’s first novel in the book series of the same title and stars Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Lowden and Olivia Cooke. The drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes.
Original Song ‘Good Tonight’ from ‘The Bad Guys’ Released
Back Lot Music has released the original song Good Tonight from DreamWorks Animation’s The Bad Guys. The track written by the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7) & Gary Go and performed by Anthony Ramos (who also provided additional lyrics with Will Wells) is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘The Bad Guys’ Soundtrack Album Details
Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s feature The Bad Guys. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Enola Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Being the Ricardos, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Birds of Prey, Steve Jobs). Also included are songs performed by Anthony Ramos, Elle King and The Heavy. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 31 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Bad Guys is directed by Pierre Perifel and features the voices of Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Zazie Beetz, Richard Ayoade, Lilly Singh and Alex Borstein. The animated comedy is based on the Scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey and centers on a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws who are about to attempt their most challenging con yet – becoming model citizens.

Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey, Being the Ricardos, Steve Jobs, Ocean’s 8) is set to return to score the upcoming Netflix original film Enola Holmes 2. The movie is directed by Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag) and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter, David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Hannah Dodd, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss. The sequel follows the title character as she takes on her first case as a detective, but to unravel the mystery of a missing girl, she’ll need help from friends – and brother Sherlock.
‘The Afterparty’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series The Afterparty. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Being the Ricardos, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey). Also included are two songs performed by Ben Schwartz (who stars as Yasper in the series) and a track performed by Schwartz, Sam Richardson & Jamie Demetriou. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 28 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The Afterparty is created by Chris Miller and stars Tiffany Haddish, Zoë Chao, Richardson, Schwartz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Ike Barinholtz, Demetriou and John Early.

The film’s music was originally written for the stage musical of the same title by Leonard Bernstein (with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim) and has been adapted by David Newman (Anastasia, Ice Age, Serenity, The Flintstones). Gustavo Dudamel conducted the New York and Los Angeles Philharmonic. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs and score from the movie last week.
