A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for Mike Mills’ drama C’mon C’mon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, Irresistible, The Kitchen) & Aaron Dessner (Cyrano, Transpecos, Big Sur). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (I Won’t Remember?) will already be available to stream/download tomorrow and can also be checked out below. C’mon C’mon is written and directed by Mills and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Gaby Hoffmann and Woody Norman. The movie follows an artist left to take care of his precocious young nephew as they forge an unexpected bond over a cross country trip.

First Song from ‘Cyrano’ Soundtrack Released
Decca Records has released the first song from the soundtrack for the musical drama Cyrano. Available to stream/download now is Someone to Say written by Bryce Dessner & Aaron Dessner (of The National), with lyrics by Matt Berninger & Carin Besser and performed by lead actress Haley Bennett, Víkingur Ólafsson (on piano) and the London Contemporary Orchestra. Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, Irresistible, The Kitchen) & Aaron Dessner (Transpecos, Big Sur) of the rock band The National have teamed up to score the upcoming drama C’mon C’mon. The film is written and directed by Mike Mills (Beginners, 20th Century Women, Thumbsucker) and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Gaby Hoffman, Woody Norman and Kenneth Kynt Bryan. The movie follows an artist left to take care of his precocious young nephew as they forge an unexpected bond over a cross country trip. Chelsea Barnard (Booksmart), Lila Yacoub (Eighth Grade, Frances Ha) and Andrea Longacre-White are producing the A24 production.
Bryce & Aaron Dessner Scoring Clint Bentley’s ‘Jockey’
Bryce Dessner & Aaron Dessner (of The National) have teamed up to score the upcoming indie drama Jockey. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Clint Bentley and stars Clifton Collins Jr., Molly Parker and Moises Arias. The movie follows a seasoned horse jockey Jackson who finds himself facing what could be his last season as his health deteriorates, when a budding young jockey shows up and claims to be his son. Bentley also co-wrote the screenplay with Greg Kwedar. They are both producing the project with Nancy Schafer (Barracuda, 7 Chinese Brothers, Running with Beto).

The film is written and directed by Jon Stewart and stars Steve Carell, Rose Byrne, Chris Cooper, Topher Grace, Natasha Lyonne, Mackenzie Davis, CJ Wilson and Will Sasso. The movie follows a Democrat political consultant who helps a retired ex-Marine colonel run for mayor in a small Wisconsin town. Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner & Jeremy Kleiner (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight, The Big Short) are producing the Plan B Entertainment production with Stewart and Lila Yacoub (Eighth Grade, Frances Ha).

Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie The Two Popes. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bryce Dessner (The Revenant, The Kitchen, Transpecos) of the rock band The Nationals. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 6, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track is already available to stream/download here. The Two Popes is directed by Fernando Meirelles and stars and stars Anthony Hopkins as Pope Benedict and Jonathan Pryce as Pope Francis. Juan Minujín, Cristina Banegas and María Ucedo are co-starring in the movie, which explores the relationship and opposing visions between two of the most powerful leaders in the Catholic Church.

WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the drama The Kitchen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bryce Dessner (The Revenant, The Two Popes). Also included is The Highwomen’s cover of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 2 and will be available to download here. The Kitchen is written and directed by Andrea Berloff and stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, James Badge Dale, Brian d’Arcy James, Margo Martindale, Common and Bill Camp. The movie is based on the Vertigo comic book series from DC Entertainment created by Ollie Masters & Ming Doyle and follows three 1978 Hell’s Kitchen housewives whose mobster husbands are sent to prison by the FBI and decide to take the Irish mafia’s matters into their own hands.
