Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Train Dreams. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Bryce Dessner (of The National) (The Two Popes, We Live in Time, Cyrano, Bardo, Manhunt, She Came to Me, A Good Person, Widow Cliquot). Also included is the original end credits song Train Dreams co-written (with Dessner) and performed by Nick Cave. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A vinyl edition will be available to order here within the next few days. Two first tracks (Passageways I: Ahead, Trembling & The Great Mystery) have already been released as digital singles over the last two weeks and can be checked out below. Train Dreams is co-written and directed by Clint Bentley and stars Joel Edgerton, Felicity Jones, William H. Macy, Kerry Condon, Clifton Collins Jr., Nathaniel Arcand, John Diehl, Paul Schneider, as well as Will Patton as the narrator.

Bryce Dessner (of The National) (We Live in Time, The Two Popes, Bardo, Cyrano Manhunt, A Good Person, She Came to Me, Widow Cliquot) has composed the original score for the upcoming drama Train Dreams. The film is directed by Clint Bentley and stars Joel Edgerton, Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon and William H. Macy. The movie follows an American railroad laborer at the start of the 20th century as he experiences profound love, shocking defeat, and a world irrevocably transforming before his very eyes.
Bryce & Aaron Dessner Scoring Clint Bentley’s ‘Jockey’
Bryce Dessner & Aaron Dessner (of The National) have teamed up to score the upcoming indie drama Jockey. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Clint Bentley and stars Clifton Collins Jr., Molly Parker and Moises Arias. The movie follows a seasoned horse jockey Jackson who finds himself facing what could be his last season as his health deteriorates, when a budding young jockey shows up and claims to be his son. Bentley also co-wrote the screenplay with Greg Kwedar. They are both producing the project with Nancy Schafer (Barracuda, 7 Chinese Brothers, Running with Beto).
