Already playing in select theaters since this past Wednesday, December 29, is the drama Jockey co-written and directed by Clint Bentley and starring Clifton Collins Jr., Molly Parker, Moises Arias, Logan Cormier, Colleen Hartnett. The film’s original music is composed by The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, The Kitchen) & Aaron Dessner (Cyrano, C’mon C’mon). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. Opening at New York’s Paris Theatre today before coming out in more theaters in early January and before premiering on Netflix on January 21, is the spy thriller Munich: The Edge of War directed by Christian Schwochow and starring George MacKay, Jeremy Irons, Jannis Niehwöhner, Sandra Hüller, August Diehl, Liv Lisa Fries, Erin Doherty and Martin Wuttke. Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Vanity Fair, Vita & Virginia, The Split, The ABC Murders) has composed the film’s original music. No word yet on a soundtrack release.
