Milan Records has released the first song from the soundtrack for the upcoming movie musical Annette Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services (including Amazon) is So May We Start written by Ron & Russell Mael and performed by themselves (as Sparks), Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard feat. Annette co-written and directed by Leos Carax will premiere in July at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and in French theaters before being released in U.S. theaters and on Amazon Prime later this summer.

‘The Underground Railroad’ Vol. 2 & 3 Soundtrack Details
The full details of the second and third soundtrack albums for the Amazon limited series The Underground Railroad have been revealed. The Volume 2 & 3 albums feature more music from the show composed by Nicholas Britell (Succession, Moonlight, Cruella, If Beale Street Could Talk, The Big Short, Vice, Battle of the Sexes). The label has previously released the first volume earlier this month. The Underground Railroad is co-written and directed by Barry Jenkins and stars Thuso Mbedu, Chase W. Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Panic’ to Be Released
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Panic. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, Paradise City, Physical) & Brian H. Kim (Hello, My Name Is Doris, Search Party, BH90210). Also included is the new song Darkest Hour by Tate McRae. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music outlets. Panic is created by Lauren Oliver based on her best-selling book of the same name and stars Olivia Welch, Mike Faist, Jessica Sula, Ray Nicholson, Enrique Murciano and Camron Jones. The YA drama is set in the forgotten town of Carp, Texas, where every year the graduating seniors risk their lives competing in a series of challenges for the chance to win life-changing money and a chance to escape their small rural town.
‘Small Axe’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Motown Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon anthology films series Small Axe. The album features selections of the original score from the movies composed by Mica Levi (Jackie, Under the Skin, Monos), as well as several songs from the series, including two exclusive tracks: Michael Kiwanuka’s rendition of the Nina Simone’s To Be Young, Gifted And Black and Tiana Major9’s cover of Janet Kay’s Silly Games. Also included are spoken word pieces written by poet Linton Kwesi Johnson and performed by himself and cast members Sheyi Cole, Rochenda Sandall, and Shaun Parkes. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A limited edition vinyl edition will be coming out the following day, on Record Store Day, Saturday, June 12.

Dubois Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Solos. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Martin Phipps (The Crown, Woman in Gold, The Aftermath, War & Peace, The Honourable Woman, Peaky Blinders). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Solos is created by David Weil and stars Helen Mirren, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Mackie, Uzo Aduba, Nicole Beharie, Constance Wu and Dan Stevens. The sci-fi drama explores the depths of human connection through the lens of eight remote characters.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British mini-series Death and Nightingales adapted and directed by Allan Cubitt and starring Matthew Rhys, Jamie Dornan and Ann Skelly. The show’s original music is composed by David Holmes (Ocean’s 11, Out of Sight, Haywire, Killing Eve, Logan Lucky, Ordinary Love, Analyze That) and Gerry Diver (Pixie). The 3-part drama, which tells a story of love, betrayal and revenge set in the haunting countryside of Northern Ireland in 1885, premiered in the UK in 2018 on BBC Two (and in Ireland on RTÉ One) and is making its U.S. debut on Starz.
Also premiering tonight is the Starz original series Run the World created by Leigh Davenport and starring Bresha Webb, Amber Stevens West, Corbin Reid, Tonya Pinkins, Andrea Bordeaux, Stephen Bishop, Tosin Morohunfola, Erika Alexander, Jay Walker and Nick Sagar. Will Bates Scoring Peter Berg’s Rihanna Documentary
Will Bates (Unbelievable, The Magicians, Away, I Origins, The Looming Tower, Nightflyers) is scoring the upcoming, currently untitled documentary about pop star and business mogul Rihanna. The film is directed by Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon) and provides a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well-known pop artists. The movie will offer private insights into Rihanna’s personality, sense of humor, work ethic, family and love. Matthew Goldberg & Brandon Carroll (Serena, State of Play) serve as executive producers on the Film 45 production.
