Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original anime series Yakitori: Soldiers of Misfortune. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Japanese DJ Ken Ishii. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Yakitori: Soldiers of Misfortune is based on Carlo Zen’s sci-fi novel Yakitori and features the voices of Taito Ban, Asami Seto, Shunsuke Takeuchi, Kengo Kawanishi, Akari Kito, Kenjiro Tsuda, Wataru Takagi, Tetsu Inada and Hatsune Miku. The ARECT production takes place in a future when Earth is colonized by a superior alien civilization and follows a young man who enlists as an expendable Yakitori foot soldier. The full details of the score album for the National Geographic limited series A Small Light have been announced. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Ariel Marx (Candy, Shiva Baby, Sanctuary, A Friend of the Family, Rebel Hearts). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 19 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. As previously reported, a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the drama will coming out next week with several tracks already available now.
