Composer Stephen Lukach (Sneaky Pete, Meet Cute, Homicide, Far Cry 6: Special Operations, Skull and Bones) is reuniting with director Mike P. Nelson (Silent Night, Deadly Night) on the upcoming horror thriller Beware Boiúna. The movie starring Jessica Rothe, Kiana Madeira & Logan Marshall-Green follows a team of doctors on a medical mission that spirals into a fight for survival when the titular colossal ancient predator awakens to reclaim her domain. Tony Giglio (Chaos, Death Race 2) wrote the screenplay with Alan McElroy (Spawn, Wrong Turn). Robert Kulzer (Agatha All Along, Regretting You) is producing the project for Constantin Film, alongside Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil, Monster Hunter) for JB Pictures. Lukach has previously scored Nelson’s 2021 Wrong Turn reboot and also provided additional music to the director’s 2018 feature The Domestics. Beware Boiúna will be released in theaters on October 2, 2026 by Lionsgate.
Lukach has also recently composed new music for Ubisoft’s video game Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score has been released last month.
