Making its linear premiere tonight is the Showtime original series The Agency developed by Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth and starring Michael Fassbender, Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeffrey Wright, John Magaro, Andrew Brooke, Katherine Waterston, Harriet Sansom Harris, Alex Reznik, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi, India Fowler and Richard Gere. The show’s original music is composed by Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (All of Us Strangers, Living, The Forgotten Battle, The Strays, Censor). Click here to learn more about the political thriller, which premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.

Also premiering today is the MGM+ limited series Earth Abides developed by Todd Komarnicki based on the classic sci-fi novel by George R. Stewart and starring Alexander Ludwig, Jessica Frances Dukes, Aaron Tveit,Luisa D’Oliveira, Elyse Levesque, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, Birkett Turton, Hilary McCormack and Jenna Berman. Soundtrack Album for HBO’s ‘The Jinx’ Announced

Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the HBO original documentary series The Jinx directed by Andrew Jarecki about real-estate scion and convicted murderer Robert Durst who managed to evade justice for over three decades. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season (released in 2015 and subtitled The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst) composed by West Dylan Thordson (Split, Glass, Foxcatcher, Unsolved Mysteries, Joy) and second season (released earlier this year under the title The Jinx: Part Two) composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Phoenix Forgotten, Fatman, The Girlfriend Experience, Silk Road). ‘Asaf’ Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Turkish Netflix original series Asaf. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Toygar Isikli (Family Secrets, Son, As the Crow Flies, Endless Love, Babil). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Asaf is created by Özgür Önurme and stars Cihangir Ceyhan, Burçin Terzioğlu, Ahmet Rıfat Şungar and Saadet Işıl Aksoy. The 6-part thriller follows a father trying to find a way to get his life back on track after his separation from his wife and son, but – after an unfortunate traffic accident – gets entangled with the wrong people and finds himself sucked into a world of mystery. George Kallis (Cliffs of Freedom, After We Fell/ Ever Happy/Everything, The Last Warrior, First Love, The Black Prince, See You on Venus) has provided the original score for the upcoming romance Marked Men: Rule + Shaw. The film is directed by Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook, John Q) and stars Chase Stokes, Sydney Taylor, Alexander Ludwig, Ella Balinska, Matthew Noszka, Evan Mock and Natalie Alyn Lind. The movie is based on Jay Crownover’s bestselling novel Rule and centers on the relationship between a pre-med student and a rebellious tattoo artist who – after one uninhibited night – are forced to confront buried feelings while navigating grief, family expectations, and fear of commitment. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the animated sequel Moana 2 directed by Dave Derrick Jr., co-directed by Jason Hand and starring Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Gerald Faitala Ramsey, Rachel House, Alan Tudyk, Hualālai Chung, Awhimai Fraser, Temuera Morrison and Nicole Scherzinger. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mancina (Tarzan, Twister, Speed, Bad Boys, August Rush, Brother Bear) and the movie’s original songs are written by Abigail Barlow & Emily Bear (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical), Opetaia Foa’i and Mancina. Walt Disney Records has released two soundtrack albums featuring the songs and score over the last week. Opening in select theaters this week is the drama Queer directed by Luca Guadagnin and starring Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, Henrique Zaga, Lesley Manville and Jason Schwartzman. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Challengers, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Bones and All) have composed the film’s original score and also contributed an original song. Warner Records has released another song inspired by the movie produced by the composers and performed by Omar Apollo last week. The track written by singer/songwriter Chinchilla and the show’s composer Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Wicked Little Letters, Emma) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘Moonraker’ 45th Anniversary Soundtrack Album Announced

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1979 James Bond movie Moonraker directed by Lewis Gilbert and starring Roger Moore, Lois Chiles, Michael Lonsdale, Richard Kiel and Corinne Cléry. The 45th Anniversary Edition album features the remastered and expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Goldfinger, Out of Africa, Somewhere in Time, Body Heat), including previously unreleased music. Also included is the title song written by the composer, featuring lyrics by Hal David and performed by Shirley Bassey, alternate versions of the song, including two early versions with lyrics and vocals by Academy Award winner Paul Williams, as well as source music recorded for the movie and additional versions of score cues. The 2- CD set, which is limited to 5,000 copies, is now available to order in the 007 Store and on the label’s official website, where you can also find out more about the release and listen to audio samples. MovieScore Media has released the second song from the animated musical The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music is Showtime written by the film’s composer Guy Chambers & Amy Wadge (lyrics) and performed by voice cast member Gerard Butler (who stars as St. Nick). Also listen to the track after the jump. The label has previously released a first song (Cool to Be Kind) last week and will release the full soundtrack album on December 13. The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland is  directed by Peter Baynton, based on Carys Bexington’s bestselling book of the same name and also stars Simone Ashley and Emilia Clarke.
