Cinematic Soundscapes will release a soundtrack album for the romance Marked Men: Rule + Shaw. The album features the film’s original music composed by George Kallis (After We Fell/ Ever Happy/Everything, Cliffs of Freedom, The Last Warrior, First Love, See You on Venus, The Black Prince). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 28 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Aaron Zigman Scoring Nick Cassavetes’ ‘God Is a Bullet’
Composer Aaron Zigman (Bridge of Terabithia, The Proposal, Sex and the City, Escape from Planet Earth, Wakefield, The Ugly Truth) is reteaming with director Nick Cassavetes on the upcoming thriller God Is a Bullet. The film starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maika Monroe, January Jones, Jamie Foxx, Karl Glusman, Paul Johansson & David Thornton follows a detective who quits the police force after finding his ex-wife murdered and daughter kidnapped by a satanic cult and infiltrates the cult to hunt down the charismatic cult leader with the help of the cult’s only female escapee.
Aaron Zigman to Score ‘The Other Woman’
Aaron Zigman is reteaming with director Nick Cassavates on the upcoming romantic comedy The Other Woman. The film stars Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Nikolaj Coster Waldau, Kate Upton, Taylor Kinney and Nicki Minaj. The movie follows a woman who finds out that she is not her boyfriend’s primary lover and plots with the man’s wife for revenge. Melissa Stack wrote the screenplay and Julie Yorn (We Bought a Zoo, Unstoppable, Bride Wars) is producing the project through LBI Productions. Zigman has previously collaborated with Cassavetes on all of the director’s features since 2002’s John Q, including The Notebook, Alpha Dog, My Sister’s Keeper and Yellow.

Aaron Zigman has composed the score for Nick Cassavetes’ upcoming indie drama Yellow. The movie stars Heather Wahlquist as a young substitute teacher who escapes from her drudging everyday life by fantasizing bizarre parallel realities. Sienna Miller, Gena Rowlands, Ray Liotta, David Morse, Lucy Punch, Max Theoriot, Riley Keough, Daveigh Chase and Melanie Griffith are also starring in the film. Wahlquist has also co-written the screenplay with Cassavetes and Manu Kumaran, Chris Hanley (American Psycho), Jordan Gertner (the upcoming Spring Breakers) are producing the independent production. Cassavetes has previously collaborated with Zigman on his last four features, including John Q, The Notebook, Alpha Dog and My Sister’s Keeper.
