Universal Music Latin has released a new soundtrack album for the 2000 Mexican drama Amores Perros directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and starring Emilio Echevarría, Gael García Bernal, Goya Toledo, Vanessa Bauche, Álvaro Guerrero, Jorge Salinas, Humberto Busto and Adriana Barraza. The album features the film’s newly remastered original score composed by Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, The Last of Us, Babel, The Book of Life, The Motorcycle Diaries, August: Osage County), as well as the songs from the movie by artists such as Control Machete, Nacho Pop, Café Tacvba, Julieta Venegas, Titan, Fiebre & others. Walt Disney Records has announced the first-ever vinyl release of the soundtrack album for Gore Verbinski’s 2003 action adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl starring. The album features the film’s original music composed by Klaus Badelt (The Time Machine, Constantine, The Recruit, Rescue Dawn, K-19: The Widowmaker, Poseidon) and produced by Hans Zimmer. The soundtrack will be released on translucent “Black Ice” vinyl this Friday, November 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
