The 21st Century Symphony Orchestra has announced two new concerts of its 2015/2016 season, including a performance of the Academy Award-nominated original score for Pixar’s animated feature Ratatouille performed live to projection. Michael Giacchino who previously worked together with the orchestra on several other events, including a live performances of both his Star Trek scores, has composed the film’s music, for which he received his first Oscar nomination. Two concerts will be held on November 14 & 15 at the KKL Luzern Concert Hall in Lucerne, Switzerland. Click here to order tickets. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1971 television movie Duel directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Dennis Weaver. ‘Insurgent’ Soundtrack Announced

Interscope Records will release a soundtrack album for the second part in the Divergent series, Insurgent. The album features the songs from the film by artists including M83 feat. The Last Man on Earth is set in the year 2022 and follows a man who searches the entire United States for any signs of other living humans after an unknown event wipes out the entire population of Earth. Kurt Farquhar is composing the score for the upcoming ABC Family drama Stitchers. The show is created by Jeffrey A. Schechter (Overruled!) and stars Emma Ishta, Kyle Harris, Ritesh Rajan, Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Allison Scagliotti. The procedural series follows a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be ‘stitched’ into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Expected to top the weekend box office is the caper comedy Focus written and directed by Glenn Ficarra & John Requa and starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Rodrigo Santoro and Gerald McRaney. The film’s original music is composed by Nick Urata (Paddington, Ruby Sparks) who previously scored the director’s I Love You Phillip Morris and Crazy, Stupid, Love.
