Marcelo Zarvos has been tapped to score the upcoming spy thriller Our Kind of Traitor. The film is directed by Susanna White (Nanny McPhee Returns, Parade’s End) and stars Ewan McGregor, Stellan Skarsgard, Naomie Harris, Damian Lewis and Jeremy Northam. The movie based on the novel by John le Carre (The Constant Gardener, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) follows a couple who get embroiled with a Russian oligarch and high-profile money launderer while on holiday in Marrakech. Hossein Amini (The Two Faces of January, Drive, Snow White and the Huntsman) has written the screenplay. Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 2005 sci-fi adventure A Sound of Thunder directed by Peter Hyams (2010, Outland, The Presidio) and starring Edward Burns, Catherine McCormack, Ben Kingsley, Jemima Rooper and David Oyelowo. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Nick Glennie-Smith (The Rock, We Were Soldiers, The Man in the Iron Mask, Secretariat, Heaven Is for Real). The details of the soundtrack album for Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi thriller Chappie have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Interstellar) and additional music by Steve Mazzaro & Andrew Kawczynski. Mark Mothersbaugh to Return for ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’

Mark Mothersbaugh has signed on to score the upcoming animated feature Hotel Transylvania 2. The film is directed by Genndy Tartakovsky who previously helmed the first installment and features the voice talent of Adam Sandler, Mel Brooks, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, Molly Shannon, Jon Lovitz, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Fran Drescher and Cee-Lo Green. The movie follows Dracula’s very old and grumpy vampire father Vlad who turns up at the hotel for an impromptu family get-togethe Robert Smigel (You Don’t Mess with the Zohan) has written the screenplay. ‘Ratatouille’ and ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ Live to Projection Concerts Announced

The 21st Century Symphony Orchestra has announced two new concerts of its 2015/2016 season, including a performance of the Academy Award-nominated original score for Pixar’s animated feature Ratatouille performed live to projection. Michael Giacchino who previously worked together with the orchestra on several other events, including a live performances of both his Star Trek scores, has composed the film’s music, for which he received his first Oscar nomination. Two concerts will be held on November 14 & 15 at the KKL Luzern Concert Hall in Lucerne, Switzerland. Click here to order tickets.
