‘Force: Five’ Soundtrack CD Release Announced

Dragon’s Domain Records has release the premiere CD soundtrack release for the 1981 martial arts action movie Force: Five co-written and directed by Robert Clouse and starring Joe Lewis, Sonny Barnes, Richard Norton, Ron Hayden, Benny Urquidez, Pam Huntington, Bob Schott, Michael Prince, Amanda Wyss, Tom Villard and Bong Soo Han. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee William Goldstein (Hello Again, Shocker, Up the Creek, Saving Grace, The Quarrel, Miracle at Midnight). The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Premiering on Wednesday, June 17, is the comedy Never Change! directed by Marty Schousboe and starring John Reynolds (who also wrote the screenplay), Sofia Black-D’Elia, Carmen Christopher, Jo Firestone and Gary Richardson. The film’s original music is composed by Mike Malarkey (Empty Space, Scraps). The movie, which follows a group of thirty-somethings who must who return to high school due to a legal loophole, bringing with them midlife baggage and teenage angst, just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the British Prime Video original movie Your Fault: London directed by Charlotte Fassler & Dani Girdwood and starring Asha Banks, Matthew Broome, Eve Macklin, Kerim Hassan, Enva Lewis, Ray Fearon, Louisa Binder, Scarlett Rayner, Sam Buchanan, Joel Nankervis and Orlando Norman. James Jacob (aka Jakwob) (How to Have Sex, My Fault: London) has composed the film’s original score. Warner Music UK has released the original song In the Name of Healing by Griff from the movie as a digital single this past Friday. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi thriller Disclosure Day directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Eve Hewson, Colin Firth and Colman Domingo. The film’s original music is composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today and a CD and vinyl edition will be coming out in the coming months.
