Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the faith-based drama Flywheel: Ignition of the Soul. The album features the film’s original music composed by Zack Leffew (The Forge, Halloween Be Thy Name, A Murder of Innocence, Palau the Movie). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s Faith Theme and Flywheel Theme after the jump. Flywheel: Ignition of the Soul is directed by Alessandro Barros and stars Mario Bregieira, Pérola Faria, Gui Tavares, Elizeu Rodrigues, Felipe Folgosi, Adriano Canindé, as well as Alex Kendrick who also wrote the screenplay (based on the Kendrick Brothers’ 2003 feature of the same title) and serves as an executive producer. The movie is set in Rio de Janeiro and follows a smooth-talking, used-car salesman whose “do-whatever-it-takes” approach to business and life begins to unravel at home and at work and – after a series of wake-up calls – is forced to confront the cost of his choices. The drama is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Sony Pictures’ AFFIRM Films.
