Bear McCreary has composed the music for the upcoming sci-fi mystery thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane. The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and stars John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. The movie is said to be related to Matt Reeves’ 2008 feature Cloverfield and follows a young woman who wakes up in a stranger’s basement after a car accident and is told her life was saved from a chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable. Sony Classical will release the first soundtrack album for the hit ITV/PBS period drama Mr. Selfridge. The album features selections of the original music from all four seasons of the show composed by Charlie Mole (An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest, Dorian Gray, Dad’s Army).
