Four new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane directed by Dan Trachtenberg and starring John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). Sparks & Shadows Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Check out our previous article for the full album details. Also opening wide is the biblical drama The Young Messiah directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh, produced by Chris Columbus and starring Adam Greaves-Neal, Sean Bean, David Bradley, Lee Boardman, Jonathan Bailey and David Burke. John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, Elf, The Jungle Book) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
