Stephen Warbeck to Score TNT’s ‘Will’

willStephen Warbeck has been hired to score the upcoming TNT event series Will. The show stars Laurie Davidson as the young William Shakespeare. Olivia DeJonge, Colm Meaney, Mattias Inwood, Jamie Campbell Bower and Ewen Bremner are co-starring. The drama opens with Shakespeare just arriving onto the punk-rock theater scene in 16th century London. Craig Pearce (The Great GatsbyMoulin Rouge!Romeo + Juliet) has written the pilot episode and is executive producing the project with Alison Owen (Saving Mr. BanksMe Before you) and Debra Hayward (Les Miserables), Vince Gerardis (Flashforward), Howard Braunstein (The Client List), Louise Rosager and  Shekhar Kapur (ElizabethThe Four Feathers) who also directed the pilot.  Read the rest of this entry »

‘Orange Sunshine’ Soundtrack Announced

orange-sunshineVarese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Orange Sunshine. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Matt Costa. The soundtrack will be released on November 11, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on AmazonOrange Sunshine is directed by William A. Kirkley and tells the story of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love – a spiritual group of surfers and hippies in Southern California that became the largest suppliers of psychedelic drugs in the world during the 1960s and early 1970s. The film is directed by Mark Waters and stars Billy Bob Thornton, Kathy Bates, Christina Hendricks, Tony Cox, Brett Kelly, Ryan Hansen, Jenny Zigrino and Jeff Skowron. The movie follows the title character who teams up once again with his angry little sidekick, Marcus, to knock off a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Johnny Rosenthal & Shauna Cross (If I StayWhip It) have written the screenplay. Geyer Kosinski (FargoBad News Bears) and Andrew Gunn (Sky HighBedtime Stories) are producing the project.
