New Friends Music will release a new soundtrack album for the British Apple TV original series Trying. The album features the original songs from the show’s fifth season written and performed by Orla Gartland. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, July 8. A first track (At the End of the Day) has already released as a digital single last month and can be checked out after the jump. Poldyor, Atlantic, Communion Records & LAB Records have previously released the soundtracks for Season 1 (feat. songs by Guy Garvey, Peter Jobson & Paul Saunderson), Season 2 (Maisie Peters), Season 3 (Bear’s Den) & Season 4 (BEKA), while Lakeshore Records has released an album featuring Saunderson’s score. Trying is created by Andy Wolton and stars Esther Smith, Rafe Spall, Scarlett Rayner, Cooper Turner, Charlotte Riley, Siân Brooke, Darren Boyd, Celia Imrie, Phil Davis, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Colin Morgan. Season 5 of the comedy will premiere on July 8 exclusively on Apple TV.
