Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for Paramount Pictures’ 1991 family comedy All I Want for Christmas directed by Robert Lieberman and starring Harley Jane Kozak, Jamey Sheridan, Ethan Randall, Thora Birch, Kevin Nealon, Lauren Bacall, Leslie Nielsen . The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Rescuers Down Under, Young Sherlock Holmes, Miracle on 34th Street, Lost in Space). Only six cues of the composer’s score have previously been released on the original 1991 soundtrack album. Dogwood Lane Records has released a soundtrack album for the indie comedy drama No Pay, Nudity. The album features the film’s original music composed by Craig Richey (Friends with Money, Lovely & Amazing, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. No Pay, Nudity is directed by Lee Wilkof and stars Gabriel Byrne, Nathan Lane, Frances Conroy and Donna Murphy. The movie follows a middle-aged actor who has lost his way and returns to his hometown in Dayton, Ohio, to play the fool in “King Lear” and connects with an old girlfriend. Back Lot Music will release a score album for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature Sing. The album features the film’s original score composed by Joby Talbot (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Penelope, Closed Circuit, Son of Rambow). The soundtrack will be released on December 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Steve Moore has recently composed the music for the upcoming indie action thriller Mayhem. The film is directed by Joe Lynch (Everly, Knights of Badassdom) and stars Steven Yeun, Samara Weaving, Steven Brand, Caroline Chikezie and Kerry Fox. The movie tells the story of a virus that infects a corporate law office on the day one of their attorneys is framed by a co-worker and wrongfully fired. Matias Caruso wrote the screenplay. The family drama follows an assistant District Attorney and single mom who has to deal with her estranged dad when he unexpectedly shows up at her door. Robert Lydecker Co-Scoring ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’

Following last month’s news of Brian Tyler recording his score for the action sequel xXx: Return of Xander Cage, it has been revealed that Robert Lydecker has co-scored the movie with the composer. Tyler and Lydecker are also working together on the music for the Fox series Sleepy Hollow, which will return for a third season in 2017. Tyler is reportedly also collaborating with Kill the Noise and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello on an original song for xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The movie directed by D.J. Caruso and starring Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu, Michael Bisping, Tony Jaa and Samuel L. Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Moana directed by Ron Clements & John Musker and featuring the voices of Auli’i Cravelho and Dwayne Johnson. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mancina (Twister, Speed, Tarzan, Brother Bear, Planes). The composer also co-wrote the movie’s original songs with Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Opetaia Foa’i. The full details of the soundtrack album for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature Sing have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film performed by the movie’s voice cast. Also included are the tracks that are already available as singles, including Faith by Stevie Wonder feat. Ariana Grande, Set It All Free by Scarlett Johansson and Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing by Tori Kelly.
