EuropaCorp will release a soundtrack album for the martial arts action adventure epic The Warrior’s Gate. The album features the film’s original music composed by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Time Machine, The Promise, Rescue Dawn, The Recruit). Also included are songs by Izia, Shirley Bassey, Samsaya, Diplo & Sleepy Tom and Trak Invaders. The soundtrack will be released digitally in the U.S. on March 24, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The album is already available in several Asian markets. The Warrior’s Gate is directed by Matthias Hoene and stars Dave Bautista, Mark Chao, Ni Ni, Uriah Shelton, Francis Ng and Sienna Guillory. ‘Rings’ Soundtrack Released

Paramount Music has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Rings. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matthew Margeson (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle, Kick-Ass 2). Hans Zimmer who scored Gore Verbinski’s original The Ring movie serves as the executive music producer. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Rings is directed by F. Javier Gutierrez and stars Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan and Vincent D’Onofrio. The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger is writing original songs for the upcoming heist comedy Carter & June. The film is written and directed by Nicholas Kalikow and stars Michael Raymond-James, Samaire Armstrong and Timothy Omundson. The movie tells the story of down-and-out New Orleans con man who tries to pay off a debt to a ruthless strip club owner by piggybacking off of someone else’s bank robbery and immediately gets in way over his head. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal (Frida, Interview with the Vampire, Heat, Batman Forever, Alien 3, Public Enemies). The soundtrack will be released physically on March 17, 2017 by Zarathustra Music and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A Midsummer Night’s Dream starring Tina Benko, Max Casella, David Harewood and Kathryn Hunter is the film version of Taymor’s stage production of Shakespeare’s immortal fantasy filmed at Brooklyn’s Polonsky Center in 2013. Alex Heffes is reteaming with director Peter Webber on the upcoming documentary Earth: One Amazing Day. The film directed by Webber (The Girl With The Pearl Earring, Hannibal Rising) & Richard Dale (The Human Body) is the sequel to 2007’s hit movie Earth (scored by George Fenton) and tells the story of one day in the life of the planet, “celebrating the billions of real-life dramas that occur in the natural world every day”. Music Box Records has announced a 25th anniversary soundtrack edition for the 1992 drama The Lover (L’amant) directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud (The Name of the Rose, Enemy at the Gates, Seven Years in Tibet) and starring Jane March and Tony Leung. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the movie composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, 1408, Cold Mountain), including 20 minutes of previously unreleased music. A soundtrack album has been announced for Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s fantasy drama Daguerrotype (Le secret de la chambre noire).
