A soundtrack album has been announced for Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s fantasy drama Daguerrotype (Le secret de la chambre noire). The album features the film’s original music composed by Grégoire Hetzel (Incendies, My Golden Days, The Tree). The soundtrack will be released overseas on February 24, 2017 by Cristal Records. Daguerrotype is co-written and directed by Kurosawa (Pulse, Tokyo Sonata) and stars Tahar Rahim, Constance Rousseau, Olivier Gourmet and Mathieu Amalric. Jeff Russo to Score Craig William Macneill’s ‘Lizzie’

Jeff Russo is currently scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Lizzie. The film is directed by Craig William Macneill (The Boy) and stars Kristen Stewart, Chloe Sevigny, Kim Dickens, Denis O’Hare, Fiona Shaw, Jamey Sheridan and Jeff Perry. The movie tells the story surrounding the infamous murder trial of convicted axe killer Elizabeth Borden who was eventually acquitted for the 1892 murder her father and stepmother in Fall Rivers, MA. Bryce Kass wrote the screenplay. Naomi Despres (Kill the Messenger) and Elizabeth Destro (Life of Crime) are producing the project. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Taran Killam and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bobby Moynihan, Cobie Smulders, Paul Brittain, Hannah Simone and Ryan Gaul. Killam also wrote the screenplay and appears in the movie, which follows a group of eccentric assassins who are fed up with Gunther, the world’s greatest hit-man and decide to kill him. The show is developed by Douglas Petrie & Marco Ramirez (Daredevil) and stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, all of which are reprising their roles from their own shows. The 8-parter based on the Marvel Comics characters takes place a few months after the events of the second season of Daredevil and follows the superheroes as they team-up in New York City.
