Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Chinese fantasy action adventure sequel Monster Hunt 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by Leon Ko (The Warlords, Perhaps Love) who previously scored the 2015 original Monster Hunt movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 16 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Monster Hunt 2 is directed by Raman Hui and stars Tony Leung, Bai Baihe, Jing Boran, Li Yuchun and Tony Yang. The sequel to the first Monster Hunt movie, which became the highest-grossing title at the Chinese box office upon its release in July 2015 ,takes place in an ancient Chinese world where humans and monsters exist side by side. Ezra Koenig’s ‘I Promise You’ Demo from ‘Peter Rabbit’ to Be Released

Columbia Records will release the demo version of the original song I Promise You from the family comedy Peter Rabbit. The track is performed by Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig who also co-wrote the song with director Will Gluck and will be released as a digital single tomorrow, February 16 and will be available to download on Amazon. The label has previously released the version of the song performed by James Corden last week as a single, which also featured a score suite by Dominic Lewis. Jóhann Jóhannsson Revealed as Original Composer for Marc Forster’s ‘Christopher Robin’

Jóhann Jóhannsson‘s manager Tim Husom revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the composer had signed on to score Disney’s upcoming fantasy drama Christopher Robin before he passed away last week. The film directed by Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, World War Z) and starring Ewan McGregor & Hayley Atwell tells the story of Robin, the little boy from the Winnie the Pooh series, who is now all-grown-up and lost all sense of imagination. The movie is currently set to be released on August 3, 2018. Jóhannsson was also set to score the upcoming HBO mini-series Chernobyl as revealed by the project’s creator Craig Mazin last week.
