Composer Stephen Rennicks is reuniting with director Lenny Abrahamson on the upcoming supernatural horror thriller The Little Stranger. The film starring Domhnall Gleeson, Ruth Wilson, Will Poulter and Charlotte Rampling is based on Sarah Waters’ 2009 novel of the same title and takes place in post-WWII Britain, where a doctor revisits a crumbling great house where his mother once worked as a nurse maid and becomes obsessed with marrying one of the owner’s daughters. The movies is based on the 1983 British miniseries of the same title and follows four armed robbers who are killed in a failed heist attempt, leaving their widows to finish the job. Under the Tree is co-written and directed by Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurdsson and stars Steinþór Hróar Steinþórsson, Edda Björgvinsdóttir and Sigurður Sigurjónsson. The album features the film’s original music composed by George Streicher (Howard Lovecraft and the Frozen Kingdom). The Steam Engines of Oz is directed by and features the voices of Ron Perlman, William Shatner and Julianne Hough.
