Disney has announced today that Matthew Tishler and Jeannie Lurie are writing and producing original songs for the upcoming Disney Junior animated series Mira, Royal Detective. Amritha Vaz will compose the score for the show, which is developed by Becca Topol (Elena of Avalor) and features the voices of Leela Ladnier, Freida Pinto, Hannah Simone, Jameela Jamil, Kal Penn, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Aasif Mandvi, Sarita Choudhury, Aparna Nancherla, Kamran Lucas, Karan Brar, Karan Soni, Sarayu Blue, Parvesh Cheena, Sonal Shah and Roshni Edwards. Skylar Grey has recorded an original song for the superhero movie Aquaman. The track, entitled Everything I Need, is written by Grey and Elliott Taylor and is featured in the movie directed by James Wan and stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Kidman, Ludi Lin and Temuera Morrison. The movie is based on a short story by Robert Silverberg and follows a couple struggling to hold their marriage together in a world where time travel is possible, and the past and present are ever fluctuating.
