The full details of the soundtrack album for Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin have been revealed. The album features all the songs from the movie, including new versions of the classic songs from the 1992 animated feature composed by Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted) and featuring lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, as well as new songs by Menken featuring lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman). Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Menken. Variety is reporting that Grammy Award winner Harvey Mason Jr. is composing the music for the upcoming animated musical feature Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening. The film directed by Jeremy Zag is based on his Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir TV series (which aired in the U.S. on Nickelodeon) and follows two Parisian teens who transform into the Ladybug and Cat Noir superheroes.
