BMG has released the original song Bullet Holes from the action sequel John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The track is written by Gavin Rossdale & composer Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2) and performed by Bush. The song is now available as a digital single on Amazon. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action sequel John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Anjelica Huston, Jason Mantzoukas and Ian McShane. The film’s original music is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, 300, Watchmen, The Punisher) & Joel J. Richard (John Wick 1 & 2). Also opening wide is the family drama A Dog’s Journey directed by Gail Mancuso and starring Kathryn Prescott, Betty Gilpin, Dennis Quaid, Henry Lau, Marg Helgenberger and Josh Gad. Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, The Accountant, A River Runs Through It) has composed the film’s original score. It was announced today that acclaimed conductor Gustavo Dudamel will be guiding the baton for the film’s recording of Leonard Bernstein’s score for Steven Spielberg’s new film adaptation of West Side Story. As previously reported, David Newman (Anastasia, Ice Age, Serenity) will be arranging the Bernstein score for the new adaptation. Tony Award winner Jeanine Tesori (Broadway’s Fun Home and Thoroughly Modern Millie) will be working with the cast on vocals and Matt Sullivan (Beauty and the Beast, Chicago) will serve as executive music producer for the film. 35th Anniversary Release of Elmer Bernstein’s ‘Ghostbusters’ Score Announced

Sony Music has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1984 classic Ghostbusters directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis. The album, which coincides with the movie’s 35h anniversary, features the film’s original score composed by Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, Airplane, Far from Heaven), newly mixed and remastered from the score’s original multi-tracks, as well as new artwork, commentary from Elmer’s son, Peter Bernstein, and four previously unreleased tracks.
