Emile Mosseri has recently recorded his score for the upcoming indie drama Minari. The film is written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung and stars Steven Yeun, Han Yeri, Youn Yuh Jung, Will Patton, Alan Kim and Noel Kate Cho. The movie follows a 7-year-old Korean-American boy who gets his life turned upside down when his father decides to move their family to rural Arkansas and start a farm in the mid-1980s. Dede Gardner & Jeremy Kleiner (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight, The Big Short) and Christina Oh are producing the project for. Mosseri has previously scored Plan B’s The Last Black Man in San Francisco. Minari will premiere next month in competition at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and will be distributed by A24.

As previously reported, Mosseri also has scored Plan B’s Kajillionaire directed by Miranda July and starring Evan Rachel Wood, Gina Rodriguez & Richard Jenkins. The movie is also expected to premiere in 2020.
