Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Remarkably Bright Creatures. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Leave No Trace, Winter’s Bone, The Lost Daughter, Out of the Furnace, Daddio, Locke, Last Chance Harvey). Remarkably Bright Creatures is directed by Olivia Newman and stars Sally Field, Lewis Pullman, Colm Meaney, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Beth Grant, Joan Chen, Kathy Baker, Brandon McEwan, Donald Sales and Mapuana Makia. The drama is based on Shelby Van Pelt’s bestselling novel of the same title by and tells the story of a widow who bonds with a clever octopus and an adrift young man while working nights at a small-town aquarium. The film is premiering today on Netflix and is also being released in select theaters.
