The album features the original music from the first episode of the show’s fifth season composed by Academy Award winner Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Revenant, The Last Emperor, Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, Snake Eyes). In the third installment of the series, Amber and Prince Richard welcome another royal family to Adolvia to renew an ancient truce. Nate Atkins wrote the screenplay. The full details of the soundtrack album for Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin have been revealed. The album features all the songs from the movie, including new versions of the classic songs from the 1992 animated feature composed by Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted) and featuring lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, as well as new songs by Menken featuring lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman).
