Nolita Cinema has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy Become Awesome (Deviens Génial). The album features the film’s original score composed by Fabien Cahen (Le gendre de ma vie, Murder in Dinard, Storm Warning) and director Léo Grandperret. Also included are the songs from the movie performed by Chorale Miangaly, ONY Madagascar and Lea Dudzik. Become Awesome is co-written and directed by Grandperret and stars Manu Payet, Melha Bedia, Marie-Julie Baup. The movie follows a desperate history teacher who cons his way into a job as a German teacher to be closer to his daughter, only for chaos to ensue when he is forced to organize a last-minute class trip to Germany. The comedy will be released in French theaters tomorrow, June 17. No word on a domestic relaese.
