Flamingo Records has released the original song Brighter Dawn from the indie drama Clemency. The song is written and performed by Laura Mvula. The track is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon. Listen to the full song after the jump. As previously reported, Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the movie featuring Kathryn Bostic’s original score. Clemency is written and directed by Chinonye Chukwu and stars Alfre Woodard, Aldis Hodge, Wendell Price, Richard Schiff and Danielle Brooks. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, was released in select theaters this past December by Neon.
