Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic drama All My Life directed by Marc Meyers and stars Jessica Rothe, Harry Shum Jr, Kyle Allen,  Jay Pharoah, Chrissie Fit, Marielle Scott and Keala Settle. The film’s original music is composed by Lisbeth Scott (Tumble Leaf, American Son, Justine). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two cover songs performed by Settle. Also opening in theaters nationwide today is the comedy Half Brothers directed by Luke Greenfield and starring Luis Gerardo Méndez, Connor Del Rio and Juan Pablo Espinosa. Jordan Seigel has composed the film’s original music. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Varese Sarabande Announces Digital Release of Deluxe Edition Soundtracks

Varese Sarabande Records has announced the digital release of eleven recent titles from the label’s Deluxe Edition series. The titles include the deluxe editions of all three of Michael Giacchino‘s Star Trek scores: Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond. Also available now are the deluxe edition soundtracks for How to Train Your Dragon (music by John Powell), The Matrix (score by Don Davis),  Small Soldiers & The Haunting (music by Jerry Goldsmith), Volcano (score by Alan Silvestri), Dolores Claiborne (music by Danny Elfman), Outbreak (score by James Newton Howard) and Village of the Damned (music by John Carpenter). ‘Half Brothers’ Soundtrack Released

Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album for the comedy Half Brothers. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jordan Seigel and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also listen to audio clips. Half Brothers is directed by Luke Greenfield and stars Luis Gerardo Méndez, Connor Del Rio and Juan Pablo Espinosa. The movie follows a successful Mexican aviation executive who discovers he has an American half-brother he never knew about. EMI Latin has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Selena: The Series. The album features the songs from the show performed by the title character and her band Selena y Los Dinos. Lynn Fainchtein serves as the project’s music producer and music supervisor. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Selena: The Series is created by Moises Zamora and stars Christian Serratos, Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira, Noemí Gonzalez, and Seidy López. The drama explores Selena Quintanilla’s journey from singing small gigs to becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time – and the years of hard work and sacrifice the Quintanilla family navigated together. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Anne-Kathrin Dern (The Jade Pendant, Fearless, The Legend of the War Horse, Help, I Shrunk My Parents). Also included is the original song Still Here written and performed by Pommelien Thijs (who also appears in the film) and produced by Dern. Big Branch Music has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original documentary Athlete A. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Rome, The Biggest Little Farm, Carnivale, Pollock, Monk, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 4 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Athlete A is directed by Bonni Cohen & Jon Shenk and focuses on the gymnasts who survived USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar’s abuse and the reporters who exposed USAG’s toxic culture.  The movie, which recently received a Critic’s Choice Award for Best Sports Documentary, features interviews with NCAA gymnast Maggie Nichols, Olympic bronze medalist Jamie Dantzscher and former gymnast Rachael Denhollander.
