Void Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror feature Hokum. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Bishara  (The Conjuring, Insidious, Annabelle, MalignantThe Curse of La LloronaTarot, Dark Skies, The Unholy). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. A vinyl edition is expected to be released by Waxwork Records. Hokum is written and directed by Damian McCarthy and stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O’Connell and Michael Patri. The film follows a novelist who retreats to a remote inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, when he gets consumed by tales of a witch haunting the honeymoon suite and is forced to confront dark corners of his past. The movie premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Neon.
