Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album for the British comedy The Fall of Sir Douglas Weatherford. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gazelle Twin (aka Elizabeth Bernholz) (The Power, Summerwater, Black Cab, Welcome to the Blumhouse: Nocturne, Twisted Yoga, Then You Run). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track after the jump. The Fall of Sir Douglas Weatherford is written and directed by Séan Dunn and stars Peter Mullan, Jakob Oftebro, Gayle Rankin, Sid Sagar and Lewis MacDougall. The movie follows a grieving tour guide whose hold on the past begins to slip when a fantasy TV series descends on a Scottish town and eclipses its local mythology. The comedy premiered at this year’s International Film Festival Rotterdam and was released in UK theaters this past June by MUBI. No word yet on a domestic release.
