Premiering tomorrow, August 3, is the Quibi original series The Fugitive created by Nick Santora based on the 1993 feature of the same title and starring Kiefer Sutherland, Boyd Holbrook, Natalie Martinez, Brian Geraghty, Genesis Rodriguez, Tiya Sircar and Keilani Arellanes. The show’s original music is composed by Tony Morales (Elena of Avalor, Scorpion, Bloodline, The Bag Man, An Actor Prepares, In Your Eyes). Also premiering tomorrow is the Netflix docu-series Immigration Nation directed by Shaul Schwarz & Christina Clusiau and executive produced by Dan Cogan, Jenny Raskin, Brandon Hill & Christian Thompson about the processes, pitfalls and pain of immigration in America. This past week, Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, 11.22.63, Queen of Katwe, Touching the Void) has recorded his score for the upcoming giant screen documentary The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness. The movie is written and directed by IMAX producer Myles Connolly (Enchanted Kingdom) and nature photographer and cinematographer Florian Schulz and features the first-ever cinematic account of the Arctic National Wildlife refuge, situated in the northeastern corner of Alaska, the wildest place left in North America. The film follows Schulz as he tracks the Porcupine Caribou herd on the longest animal migration on earth, and witnesses pregnant female polar bears denning along the coastal plain. Opening in select theaters today is the documentary Rebuilding Paradise directed by Ron Howard. The film’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King, Inception) & Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life). A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score for the movie, which also features Pearl Jam’s River Cross as its end credits song, will be announced soon. Check out our previous article for more information about the movie, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being released by National Geographic Films/Abramorama.

Opening on VOD today is the romantic drama The Secret: Dare to Dream directed by Andy Tennant and starring Katie Holmes, Josh Lucas, Celia Weston and Jerry O’Connell. George Fenton (The Blue Planet, Hitch, Groundhog Day, Dangerous Liaisons, Anna and the King) has composed the film’s original music. Lightning Glasses and Tone Tree Music have released the original song Waiting written and performed by Striking Matches  today. A soundtrack album has been released for the documentary Loud Krazy Love. The album features the film’s original score composed by Hanan Townshend (Knights of Cups, To the Wonder, Outcry, Semper Fi, The Book of Vision, The Vessel). . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon. Loud Krazy Love is directed by Scott Mayo & Trey Hill and explores how the sound Brian “Head” Welch pioneered with KoRn in the early ‘90s provided identity to a generation of misfits and made him a global rock star. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Gerald Fried (The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Roots, Mission: Impossible, Gilligan’s Island) who scored several episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series. Walt Disney Records has released the cover version of  Angels & Airwaves’ Everything’s Magic from the Disney Channel original movie Upside-Down Magic. The track, which was originally written by Tom DeLonge, is performed by cast members Izabela Rose, Siena Agudong, Elie Samouhi, Alison Fernandez and Max Torina. Wave Theory Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series SS-GB. The album features the Ivor Novello- and RTS Award-nominated music from the show composed by Dan Jones (On Chesil Beach, Shadow of the Empire, World on Fire, Lady Macbeth, Any Human Heart) and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales (conducted by Elizabeth Purnell). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. SS-GB is written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade based on Len Deighton’s 1978 novel and stars Sam Riley, Kate Bosworth, Rainer Bock, Lars Eidinger, Maeve Dermody and James Cosmo. The 5-parter is directed by Philipp Kadelbach and follows a British homicide detective as he investigates a murder in a German-occupied England in a parallel universe where the Nazis won World War II. Sol B Music will release the official soundtrack album for the psychological thriller Unhinged. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Buckley (The Good Wife, The Forbidden Kingdom, Papillon, Angel Has Fallen, The Stranger). Also included is Keep Shelly in Athens’ cover version of (Don’t Fear) The Reaper. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 31 and will be available to stream/download here.
