Premiering tonight is the Starz original series Power Book II: Ghost created by Courtney A. Kemp and starring Michael Rainey Jr., Naturi Naughton, Mary J. Blige, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Daniel Bellomy, Paige Hurd,” Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Shane Johnson, Gianni Paolo and Melanie Liburd. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, The Night Of, Legion, The Umbrella Academy) who previously scored all episodes of the original Power series. Premiering tomorrow, September 7 is DreamWorks Animation’s new TV series Madagascar: A Little Wild executive produced by Johanna Stein & Dana Starfield and starring Tucker Chandler, Amir O’Neil, Shaylin Becton, Luke Lowe, Jasmine Gatewood and Eric Petersen. Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, The Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Hangman) who has previously scored DreamWorks Animation TV’s All Hail King Julien is composing the show’s original music. The series, which follows young versions of Alex, Marty, Gloria & Melman from the Madagascar franchise, as they grow up in New York City, will be available to stream on Hulu and Peacock. Expanded ‘Swashbuckler’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1976 adventure movie Swashbuckler directed by James Goldstone and starring Robert Shaw, James Earl Jones, Peter Boyle, Geneviève Bujold, Beau Bridges and Geoffrey Holder. The 2-CD set features the original music from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Addison (A Bridge Too Far, Tom Sawyer, Sleuth, Torn Curtain, The Seven-Per-Cent Solution), including the composer’s expanded score, as well alternate cues on the first disc and the (remastered) content of the original soundtrack album on the second disc. ‘Padrenostro’ Soundtrack Released

Edizioni Curci has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama Padrenostro. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ratchev & Carratello (aka Stefano Ratchev & Mattia Carratello). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list. Padrenostro is co-written and directed by Claudio Noce and stars Pierfrancesco Favino, Mattia Garaci, Barbara Ronchi, Francesco Gheghi, Francesco Colella and Antonio Gerardi. The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this week is the spy thriller Tenet written and directed by Christopher Nolan and starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Dimple Kapadia,  Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and Himesh Patel. The film’s original music is composed by Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian, Creed, Community, Venom). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Travis Scott’s original song The Plan co-written and produced by Göransson. Premiering today for a premium fee on Disney+ is the live-action film adaptation of Mulan directed by Niki Caro and starring Yifei Liu, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li and Jet Li. Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Kingdom of Heaven) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as an original song and a new version Reflection (written for the 1998 animated feature). ‘No Time to Die’ Soundtrack Cover Art and Release Date Revealed

Decca Records has revealed the cover art for the soundtrack album for the 25th James Bond film No Time to Die. The album features the film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer(The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean), as well as the theme song performed by Billie Eilish and co-written by herself and Finneas O’Connell (already out now as a digital single). The soundtrack will be released on November 13, 2020 and will be available to pre-order here soon. Check back on this page for the track list. The album features the film’s original score composed by John Swihart (Napoleon Dynamite, How I Met Your Mother, Dinner in America, For a Good Time, Call…, Youth in Revolt, Table 19) . The Bay of Silence is directed by Paula van der Oest and stars Claes Bang, Olga Kurylenko, Brian Cox, Assaad Bouab and Alice Krige. The album features the songs from all seasons of the show performed by the animated comedy’s cast, including series composer Brad Breeck, Estelle (who performs the title song We’ll Be There), Leslie Odom Jr., Courtney Fortune, Sarah Bonita, Felicia Day, Anthony Obi & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. The label has previously released a soundtrack EP for this year’s We Bare Bears: The Movie. Wave Theory Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series Man in an Orange Shirt. The album features the show’s original music composed by Dan Jones (On Chesil Beach, Shadow of the Empire, Lady Macbeth, Any Human Heart, World on Fire) and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Man in an Orange Shirt is written by Patrick Gale, directed by Michael Samuels and stars Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Julian Morris, James McArdle, Joanna Vanderham, David Gyasi and Vanessa Redgrave.
