B Original has released a soundtrack album for the French animated TV series The Borrowers (Les chapardeurs). The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Guillaume Poyet (Yakari – A Spectacular Journey, Pompon Little Bear) & Guillaume Le Henaff. Also included is the “opening song” written by Poyet & Le Henaff and performed by Arrietty Blue. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the song and first score track after the jump.The Borrowers is based on Mary Norton’s classic book series of the same title and follows a young Borrower who – after being spotted by a human boy – begins an unlikely friendship that changes her family’s life forever. The series, which is adapted by Charles Habib-Drouot & Kristen Glorennec, Mark Huckerby & Nick Ostler and produced by Blue Spirit, premiered in France last September on TF1 and is also being released in numerous other international markets.
