Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Animal Farm. The album features the film’s original music composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,  Minions, Smallfoot, The Angry Birds Movie, Paw Patrol: The Movie,  The Smurfs). Also included are three tracks by British DJ Carl Cox. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 1. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Animal Farm is directed by Andy Serkis and features the voices of Seth Rogen, Gaten Matarazzo, Steve Buscemi, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Laverne Cox, Woody Harrelson, Jim Parsons, Serkis himself, Kathleen Turner and Iman Vellani. The movie is based on George Orwell’s novella of the same title about group of of farm animals who rebel against their neglectful human owners and take over the farm, only to face new challenges under the rule of a cunning pig.The animated feature premiered at last year’s Annecy Animation Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Angel.
