Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British/New Zealand mini-series The Luminaries directed by Claire McCarthy, written by Eleanor Catton based on his novel of the same title and starring Eva Green, Himesh Patel, Eve Hewson, Ewen Leslie and Marton Csokas. The show’s original music is composed by David Long (6 Days, McLaren, Ice). Club Champion has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year. Also premiering tonight following two preview episodes earlier this year is the Fox animated comedy The Great North created by Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin & Minty Lewis and starring Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, Paul Rust, Dulcé Sloan and Aparna Nancherla.
