Fallout Shelter Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the thriller Paradise Cove. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeff Cardoni (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Silicon Valley, The Kominsky MethodCSI: MiamiYoung Sheldon, Just Friends, L.A. Finest). Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC Earth docu-series Primates. The album features selections of the original score from the show composed by Adam Lukas (Being The Queen, Roman Empire II) & Denise Santos (Gathering Storm, Savage Kingdom, Apollo: The Forgotten Films) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 5, 2021 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Disney announced today that Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, Krypton, Fortnite, McMillions, The Angel) has composed the original music for the upcoming Disney animated short Us Again. The film directed by Zach Parrish is set in a vibrant city pulsating with rhythm and movement, and follows an elderly man and his young-at-heart wife rekindle their youthful passion for life and each other on one magical night.  The movie, which is told entirely without dialogue and set to an original funk and soul musical score reminiscent of the mid-60s, features choreography by dancers Keone and Mari. West Hall Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the documentary The Dissident. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adam Peters (Savages, Icarus, Snowden, The Yellow Birds). The Dissident is directed by Bryan Fogel and centers on the disappearance of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi after entering Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul. Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, American Crime Story, Ratched, The Politician) has been tapped to score the upcoming BBC Wales drama The Pact. The show is written and created by Pete McTighe (A Discovery of Witches,Wentworth) and stars Laura Fraser, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Eddie Marsan, Aneurin Barnard, Eiry Thomas, Heledd Gwynn, Abbie Hern, Aled ap Steffan, Jason Hughes, Mark Lewis Jones, Rakie Ayola and Gabrielle Creevy. The 6-part crime thriller is directed by Eric Styles (That Good Night, Legendary) & Rebecca Johnson (Honeytrap) and follows the story of five friends, a sudden death and a web of lies. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British/New Zealand mini-series The Luminaries directed by Claire McCarthy, written by Eleanor Catton based on his novel of the same title and starring Eva Green, Himesh Patel, Eve Hewson, Ewen Leslie and Marton Csokas. The show’s original music is composed by David Long (6 Days, McLaren, Ice). Club Champion has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year. The show is created by Dwayne Johnson & Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Always Be My Maybe) and stars Johnson himself, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Uli Latukefu, Bradley Constant, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui. The series focuses on different chapters of Johnson’s life, from growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family and to playing football at the University of Miami. Opening in theaters nationwide today and also premiering on HBO Max is the drama Judas and the Black Messiah directed by Shaka King and starring Daniel Kaluuya, LaKeith Stanfield, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, Jesse Plemons and Martin Sheen. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Isham (CrashOnce Upon a TimeMiracle, A River Runs Through It) & Craig Harris. Also opening wide is the drama Land directed by Robin Wright and starring Wright herself, Demián Bichir and Kim Dickens.
