Composer Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, Mulan, The Equalizer, Man on Fire, The Town) is reteaming with director Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien, Blade Runner) on the upcoming crime drama House of Gucci. The film starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek and Al Pacino is based on the Sara Gay Forden book of the same name and centers on the events around the assassination of Guccio Gucci’s grandson, Maurizio . Becky Johnston (The Prince of Tides, Seven Years in Tibet) and Roberto Bentivegna wrote the screenplay. Scott is also producing the project with Giannina Scott (Concussion), Kevin J. Walsh (Manchester by the Sea, All the Money in the World) and Mark Huffam (Raised by Wolves, Johnny English). Gregson-Williams has previously scored several of Scott’s films, including Kingdom of Heaven, Prometheus, The Martian and the upcoming The Last Duel, which will premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival and will be released in theaters on October 15. House of Gucci is set to be released in theaters on November 24, 2021 by MGM Studios/United Artists.
