The album features the film’s original music written by British composer Daniel Blumberg who made his feature film coring debut on the project. Also included is the original title song written and performed by Blumberg & Josephine Foster. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music stores. The World to Come is directed by Mona Fastvold and stars Katherine Waterston, Vanessa Kirby, Christopher Abbott and Casey Affleck. The track, which has just been shortlisted in the Original Song category for this year’s Academy Awards earlier this week, is written performed by Abraham Marder, produced by Thomas Bartlett and is the closing theme for the film. The movie tells the story of Kongwen Lu, the author of a fantasy novel series following a heroic teenager, also named Kongwen, on a quest to confront Lord Redmane, under the guidance of a Black Armor. But through a strange twist of fate, the fantasy world of the novel begins to impact life in the real world, leading Guan Ning to accept a mission from Tu Ling to kill the author.
