Musichub has released a soundtrack album for the German drama A Stroll to Syracuse (Spaziergang nach Syrakus). The album features the film’s original music composed by Jakob Ilja (The Chambermaid Lynn, Mittagsstunde) & Benjamin Drees. A Stroll to Syracuse is directed by Lars Jessen and stars Charly Hübner, Lina Beckmann, Thorsten Merten, Bruno Di Chiara, Jens Münchow, Tom Jahn, Max Tuveri, Christian Näthe, Mélanie Fouché abd Anna Unterberger. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Friedrich Christian Delius and tells the story of a man living in East Germany in 1982 who decides to illegally cross the border to recreate the 1802 walking trip of poet Johann Gottfried Seume down to Sicily. The drama just opened in German theaters this past weekend. No word on a domestic release.
