Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Batman: Caped Crusader, Star Trek: Picard, Primitive War, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Doom: Annihilation, Hangman, Occupation: Rainfall, Field of Lost Shoes) has provided the original score for the new Nickelodeon/Paramount+ original movie Clash of the Thundermans. The film is directed by Trevor Kirschner (who previously helmed 2024’s The Thundermans Return scored by Brian & Caleb Chan) and stars Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Maya Le Clark, Diego Velazquez, Addison Riecke, Chris Tallman, Rosa Blasi, Ariel Winter, Dana Snyder, Daniele Gaither and Robyn Bradley. The movie is based on on the hit Nickelodeon live-action superhero comedy series The Thundermans and follows youngest sibling Chloe as she develops a new and unpredictable superpower, causing the Hero League to demand they send her away to a superhero boarding school to learn to control it. Jed Spingarn, Sean W. Cunningham & Marc Dworkin wrote the screenplay and are also executive producing the Paramount Television Studios production with Kosarin, Griffo, Brian Banks and Richard Bullock. Clash of the Thundermans will premiere next Thursday, September 3 on Nickelodeon and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
Wiedmann’s other recent projects include the second season of Prime Video’s Batman: Caped Crusader, which just premiered last month.
