Jonathan Sanford (Teenage Bounty Hunters, Dare Me, Good on PaperSocial Distance) is scoring the upcoming Amazon original series As We See It. The show is developed by Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) based on the Israeli format On the Spectrum created by Dana Idisis & Yuval Shafferman and stars Rick Glassman, Albert Rutecki, Sue Ann Pien, Sosie Bacon, Chris Pang and Joe Mantegna. The drama follows three twentysomething roommates on the autism spectrum, as they strive to get and keep jobs, make friends, fall in love, and navigate a world that eludes them. Katims is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Idisis & Shafferman, Jeni Mulein (Away, Almost Family), Danna Stern (68 Whiskey) and Udi Segal. Jesse Peretz (Our Idiot Brother, The Ex) directed the pilot episode, which he is also executive producing. As We See It will premiere on January 21, 2022 on Amazon Prime.

As previously reported, Sanford also has Ric Roman Waugh’s sports drama National Champions starring Stephan James (to be released in theaters nationwide on December 10) coming up.
