Lakeshore Records has released the first soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Goliath. The album features selections of the original music from all four seasons of the show composed by Jon Ehrlich & Jason Derlatka (House, Parenthood, The Resident, Invasion, Life, About a Boy). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Goliath is created by David E. ‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’ Soundtrack Single Released
Hollywood Records has released a digital single featuring two tracks from the soundtrack for the Disney+ original series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. Available to stream/download now is the show’s main title theme based on Mike Post’s Doogie Howser, M.D. theme produced by show’s composer Wendy Wang and performed by ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro, as well as the score cue Campfire by Wang and Shimabukuro. ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Ted Lasso. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Marcus Mumford (of Mumford & Sons) & Tom Howe (Early Man, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Professor Marston & the Wonder Women). Also included is a new version of the Ted Lasso Theme performed by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download exclusively on Apple Music/iTunes before debuting on Amazon and other digital music stores in a couple of weeks. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 last year. Ted Lasso is created by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly & Brendan Hunt based on the NBC Sports format and stars Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Hunt, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein and Nick Mohammed.
‘What If… Thor Were an Only Child?’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the seventh soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ animated series What If…? have been revealed. The album features the original music from the seventh episode (What If… Thor Were an Only Child?) of the show composed by Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Set It Up, Underground, Paris Can Wait, Taken, Step, Why We Hate). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 24 by Hollywood Records and Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download here. Karpman’s scores from Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4, Episode 5 & Episode 6 are also available now and two more soundtracks featuring the composer’s score from the final two Season 1 episodes will be coming out next month.

Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Midnight Mass. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by The Newton Brothers (The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep, Oculus, The Forever Purge, Ouija: Origin of Evil, The Walking Dead: World Beyond). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Midnight Mass is created by Mike Flanagan and stara Kate Siegel, Zach Gilford, Hamish Linklater, Henry Thomas, Samantha Sloyan, Kristin Lehman, Igby Rigney, Annarah Cymone, Rahul Kohli, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Abburi, Alex Essoe, Matt Biedel, Crystal Balint, Michael Trucco and Louis Oliver. The supernatural horror drama centers on an isolated community on Crockett Island who experiences miraculous events following the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.
Ludwig Göransson Scoring Disney+’s ‘The Book of Boba Fett’
Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Venom, Community) is returning as composer for the upcoming Disney+ original series The Book of Boba Fett. The show stars Temuera Morrison in the title role and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, both of which are reprising their roles from Lucasfilm’s first Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Jungle Book, Elf), Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Alita: Battle Angel) and Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Bad Batch) are executive producing the Lucasfilm production.
Kevin Kaska Joins ‘The Orville’ Composer Team
Kevin Kaska has recently scored his first episode of the sci-fi series The Orville. The orchestrator, arrangers composer and conductor joins John Debney, Joel McNeely and Andrew Cottee who all scored multiple episodes of the show, as well as Bruce Broughton who composed the main title theme and the music for the pilot episode. The first recording sessions of the music for the show’s third season took place last week on the Newman Scoring Stage on the Fox lot in Los Angeles (visit Seth MacFarlane’s Instagram page for a video from the scoring sessions of Kaska’s first episode).

Genie Music Corperation & Stone Music Entertainment have released a soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix original series Squid Game. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jaeil Jung (Parasite, Okja). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music stores to stream/download the soundtrack. Squid Game is created by Hwang Dong-hyuk and stars Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-jun, Oh Young-soo, Jung Ho-yeon, Heo Sung-tae and Kim Joo-ryoung. The drama follows 456 desperate contestants who compete with each other in a mysterious and deadly survival game involving multiple rounds of childhood games to win a prize that can pull them out of their misery.
Jongnic Bontemps to Score The CW’s ‘4400’ Reboot
Jongnic Bontemps (United Skates, The Land, We Are: The Brooklyn Saints, The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel, College Behind Bars, The People v. The Klan) has been hired to score the upcoming CW sci-fi drama 4400. The show is developed by Ariana Jackson based on USA’s original TV series The 4400 created by Scott Peters & Renee Echevarria and stars Brittany Adebumola, Joseph David-Jones, Ireon Roach, TL Thompson, Jaye Ladymore, Derrick A. King, Khailah Johnson, Cory Jeacoma, AMARR and Autumn Best. The series revolves around a group of people who vanished without a trace off the face of the planet over the last hundred years as they return in an instant to Detroit, having not aged a day with no memory of what happened to them, and must grapple with their impossible new reality.
Fox’s ‘Our Kind of People’ to Feature Original Score by Meshell Ndegeocello
Singer/songwriter, rapper and composer Meshell Ndegeocello (Queen Sugar, Lackawanna Blues, Disappearing Acts) is scoring the new Fox drama Our Kind of People. The show is created by Karin Gist (Star) based on Lawrence Otis Graham’s book of the same title and stars Yaya DaCosta, Morris Chestnut, Joe Morton, Nadine Ellis, Lance Gross, Rhyon Nicole Brown, Kyle Bary and Alana Bright. The series takes place in the aspirational world of Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard and follows a strong-willed, single mom as she sets out to reclaim her family’s name and make an impact with her revolutionary haircare line.
