The full details of the soundtrack album for the Hulu original series The Orville: New Horizons have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the third season of the Orville composed by Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Iron Will), John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Iron Man 2, Elf), Andrew Cottee and Kevin Kaska (Ghost Party, Jump!). Also included is Bruce Broughton’s main title and end title theme, as well as the songs Flowers Never Bend With the Rainfall performed by Scott Grimes & Anne Winters and Secret O’ Life performed by Grimes. Kevin Kaska Joins ‘The Orville’ Composer Team
Kevin Kaska has recently scored his first episode of the sci-fi series The Orville. The orchestrator, arrangers composer and conductor joins John Debney, Joel McNeely and Andrew Cottee who all scored multiple episodes of the show, as well as Bruce Broughton who composed the main title theme and the music for the pilot episode. The first recording sessions of the music for the show’s third season took place last week on the Newman Scoring Stage on the Fox lot in Los Angeles (visit Seth MacFarlane’s Instagram page for a video from the scoring sessions of Kaska’s first episode).
