Making its linear premiere tonight is the Showtime limited series Fellow Travelers created by Ron Nyswaner based on the novel by Thomas Mallon and starring Matt Bomer, Jonathan Bailey, Allison Williams, Jelani Alladin and Noah J. Ricketts. The show’s original music is composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Dynasty, Boston Strangler). The 8-part drama, which chronicles the volatile romance of two very different men who meet in McCarthy-era Washington, premiered this Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, October 30, is the British limited series Mayflies written by Andrea Gibb based on Andrew O’Hagan’s bestselling novel of the same title and starring Martin Compston, Tony Curran, Ashley Jensen, Rian Gordon, Tracy Ifeachor and Tom Glynn-Carney. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Wheel of Time, His Dark Materials, Black Widow) & Joseph Stevenson have composed the show’s original music. The 2-parter, which centers on the friendship between two Scottish men, premiered in the UK last year on BBC One and is making its domestic debut on Acorn TV.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the French-Canadian limited series The Night Logan Woke Up written and directed by Xavier Nolan and starring Julie Le Breton, Anne Dorval, Jasmine Lemée, Patrick Hivon and Pier-Gabriel Lajoie. The show’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator) and David Fleming (The Last of Us, Hillbilly Elegy). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this year. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the 5-part thriller, which will be available to stream on Netflix.

Also making its U.S. debut today is the Italian/French TV series Django created by Leonardo Fasoli & Maddalena Ravagli and starring Matthias Schoenaerts, Nicholas Pinnock, Lisa Vicari and Noomi Rapace. Mokadelic (Gomorrah, Romulus, The Immortal) have composed the show’s original music. Radiocattleya has released a soundtrack featuring the psychedelic post-rock collective’s score earlier this year when the series premiered overseas on Sky. ‘Rose: A Love Story’ Soundtrack Released

Cato Hoeben (Prince William: A Planet for Us All, Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers) has released a soundtrack album for the British horror thriller Rose: A Love Story. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Rose: A Love Story is directed by Jennifer Sheridan and stars Matt Stokoe, Sophie Rundle and Olive Gray. The movie revolves around a woman who struggles with a terrifying disease that makes her thirst for blood, forcing her husband into isolation in the woods.

David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Killing Eve, Out of Sight, Logan Lucky, Haywire, Analyze That) is the composer of the new BBC drama The Woman in the Wall. The show is written by Joe Murtagh (Calm with Horses) and stars Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack. The 6-part gothic thriller follows a woman who wakes one morning to find a corpse in her house, but has no idea who the dead woman is or if she herself might be responsible for the apparent murder.

Songs from ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2 to Be Released

Universal Music Canada will release a new soundtrack album for the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The album features fifteen songs from the second season of the show, including a new track (Sit Right Down) performed by John Cameron Mitchell (with Elijah Wood and series composers Craig Wedren & Anna Waronker), as well as alternative rock songs by such artists as Nirvana, The Cranberries, Garbage, Veruca Salt, Pulp & others. Also included is the previously released Alanis Morrisette single/opening titles song, No Return (Extended Version), as well as a new alternative version, No Return (Lottie’s Dream Sequence) (listen to the track below).The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on September 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version) and here (digital version). A vinyl edition is also in the works.

Fernando Velazquez Scoring Showtime’s ‘Ghosts of Beirut’

Fernando Velazquez (The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls, Crimson Peak, Mama, Devil, Hercules) has composed the original score for the new Showtime limited series Ghosts of Beirut. The show is created by Avi Issacharoff & Lior Raz (Fauda) and stars Dina Shihabi, Dermot Mulroney, Garret Dillahunt, Iddo Goldberg, Hisham Suleiman, Amir Khoury and Rafi Gavron. The 4-part spy drama, which features an innovative narrative approach augmented by journalistic research and documentary elements, reveals the origins of 21-year old Mughniyeh (aka “The Ghost”) who emerged from obscurity and was responsible for more American deaths than any other individual prior to 9/11.

Universal Music has released the cover version of the opening titles theme song No Return by Alanis Morissette from the fourth episode of the second season of the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The extended version of the track (originally written by Craig Wedren & Anna Waronker) produced and performed by Morissette is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Newton Brothers Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’

The Newton Brothers are currently scoring the upcoming Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher. The show is created by Mike Flanagan and stars Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Bruce Greenwood, Mark Hamill and Carla Gugino. The 8-part horror drama is based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe’s short story of the same title and other works by the author and is being described as “an epic tale of greed, horror and tragedy.” Flanagan is also executive producing the Intrepid Pictures production with Trevor Macy (The Raven, The Bye Bye Man), as well as Emmy Grinwis and Michael Fimognari (To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You & Always and Forever).
